This video demonstrates the procedure described in CDC guidance for donning (i.e., putting on) personal protective equipment (PPE) for all healthcare providers entering the room of a patient hospitalized with known or suspected Ebola virus disease. It assumes the healthcare provider will be using an N95 and Gown. This video is intended to supplement CDC's Guidance on Personal Protective Equipment To Be Used by Healthcare Workers During Management of Patients with Ebola Virus Disease in U.S. Hospitals, Including Procedures for Putting On (Donning) and Removing (Doffing), available at http://www.cdc.gov/vhf/ebola/hcp/proc.... This video will be updated and refined on an ongoing basis based on user feedback and best practices in managing patients with Ebola in U.S. hospitals.
